Health Insurance
We are registered with the following insurers.
Please clarify with your provider that the therapist you would like to see is registered with them.
Each therapist is registered with different health insurance companies, although most company-sponsored cash plans (e.g. medicash) accept invoices from any osteopath or sports therapist as long as they are registered with their regulatory body. All Osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council and all Sports Therapists are registered with the Society of Sports Therapists. Each therapist's registration number is provided on the invoice after payment.
It is best practice to contact your health insurance company to check if the therapist you would like to see if covered by them. If in doubt please call or email us to check with therapists are covered. Please note that it is clinic policy to accept payment from patients and provide receipts for the patient to be reimbursed by the health insurance company. You can ask your therapist for a paid invoice for each treatment and they will ask Matt the Clinic Director to create and send it by the end of the working week.
Also please note that we are not registered with the AXA and Bupa health insurance providers. This is owed to their very low reimbursement rates and not allowing patients to top up the difference. In order to ensure that we are able to keep the clinic running and keep it fair on self-funding patients and those that are registered with the other health insurance companies, we would need to offer shorter treatments to justify being registered with the aforementioned providers and we will not compromise on the quality of our care provided.
